Ahed Al Najjar, MEPS AHA Regional Faculty MEAA

Al Najjar is Fellow of the American Heart Association and Senior Regional Faculty for the Middle East, Africa and Asia and Flight Paramedic Assessor Instructor with over 17 years of active service to the field of Emergency Medicine. He is the Chairman EMS Advisory Board of Jordanian Paramedic Society and AREMT EMS Board of Directors. He was the United Nations – UNOPS EMS Consultant. Al Najjar has also served as Acting Head of EMS Training Dept. – Dubai Health Authority.

He established the First Aid CPR and AED implementation for Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing in Dubai and becoming as regulation. Al Najjar has successfully delivered over 2,500 provider and instructor training sessions, across 32 locations globally.

Director Ron Gui is the Principal Registry Officer of AREMT who pioneered its forming and has been a main overseer for AREMT registered affiliates seeking training and certification across Australasia and global affiliated EMS services, and education of EMS professionals.

Jim is assigned by Australian Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (AREMT) to work with Medic One in support of on going professional training development. He is an Emergency Telecommunications Instructor for the State of Connecticut and a Pediatric First Aid Instructor for the American Academy of Pediatrics. His career started in the US Army as a telecommunications sergeant, instructor and first responder for acute emergency mental health crisis. Later he became a 9-1-1 center manager, Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMT) team leader, and an Emergency Telecommunicator Instructor. He served in the emergency phase of the 2004 Tsunami disaster.

Medic One stands proud to have Dr. Ugi as its day to day Medical Control Officer. Under the Exchange Program of the Singapore International Foundation, he worked at Malang Trauma Center as part of the Specialist Trauma Team and completed his specialty in Emergency Medicine from University Brawijaya. As one of the only ten Emergency Medicine Specialists in the country of Indonesia, Dr. Ugi stands as a solid capstone of their service to provide the very best medical training, advice and care to their clients. Dr. Ugi has over 19 years medical experience and has been the head of Fatmawati General Hospital’s Emergency Department for over 16 years.
